Romo Chiropractic

My name is Dr. Edgar Romo and I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico and came to the United States of America in 1988. Over time I developed an interest and passion for alternative medicine. After my family came to the United States, I was finally given the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. As an immigrant, I embraced the opportunities America had to offer. I took full advantage of the public education that Modesto Junior College provided and graduated in 1998. I then transferred to California State University Stanislaus where I completed a pre-requisite major to be accepted for Chiropractic College in 2000.

I attended Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) in the city of Hayward California where I was honored and acknowledge as a member of the LCCW Alumni Association. Completed my internship training at Life Chiropractic College West Health Center in Hayward California and graduated in 2004 with recognition by LCCW for professional achievement in the Health Center Internship. I have also affiliated with the American Chiropractic Association.

After graduation I accepted a position as an exam doctor for Northern Nevada Chiropractic in the city of Reno, NV where I worked from 2004 to 2005. I became licensed to practice in the state of California in 2005 and decided to come back to the Central Valley where I have lived for most of my life and always dreamed to practice, but wanted to practice with a well respected health organization that will share my philosophy in providing optimal health care.

I am highly involved with the Hispanic community, as Spanish is my primary language I am very at-ease with the customs and traditions of Spanish speakers and like to participate in events that will help not only the Hispanic community but others as well.

When I have time outside of work I enjoy reading, traveling, completing jigsaw puzzles and cross-country driving. I like to listen to variety of Light and Classical Music as well as Mexican Traditional Folk music. I enjoy playing soccer, basketball, afternoon runs in the park, and as a hobby I like to collect Spawn action figures. I also take pleasure in helping people to understand how to stay healthy.

My Philosophy of Care

My personal philosophy of care is that the physician's first professional obligation is to the patient and I treat each patient as I would treat a family member or a friend with a blend of compassion and wisdom while delivering optimal care to each of my patients. Furthermore, I want to apply my abilities and insights I have achieve along my journey to enrich and improve my patients' well being.

Concluding, my objective in life is to linger happy and optimistic, and above all to preserve my veracity and inner peace.
