What to Expect on Your First Visit with Romo Chiropractic: Upon entering Romo Chiropractic you will be welcomed with a warm and friend smile.  We will ask you fill out brief paperwork, which will provide us with General Information about yourself.

Consultation:

Once the paperwork is completed and file has been created, you will have a consultation with Dr.  Edgar Romo.  Dr. Romo will ask you to provide your medical history, which will be essential for preparing a course of treatment for you. Medical records, such as diagnostic test results, or imaging results, such as X-rays and MRIs, also will provide important information about your condition.

He will ask you about things in your health history that is particularly vital to a chiropractic care.This information could provide important clues that will allow us to properly diagnose your problem.

Examination:

Here's what to expect during the exam, the first order of business is checking your vital signs, reflexes, and blood pressure. Sometimes measurements will be taken to determine arm and leg length. Next, you will be asked to do a series of simple and easy activities or exercises. These exercises will provide information about your motor skills, balance, and gait, among others. These tests also help determine your range of motion, muscle tone andstrength, and integrity of your nervous system. The exam will also look for abnormalities, which could provide clues about a condition. After the physical examination, Dr. Romo might request further diagnostic tests such as a MRI, CT Scans, X-Rays, Blood work, or other laboratory tests.

Financial Consultation:

At this time we will review you insurance coverage and he office policy.  If you don’t have any question or concerns , then you will get started with your care

Treatment:

Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include Spinal Adjustments, Physiotherapy, Massage, Myofascial Release, and Spinal Decompression.  We also consult and discuss about making important lifestyle changes, such as exercise, nutrition, andsmoking cessation to improve your chances of healing faster or preventing further injury.  You will be given home instructions about Ice, Heat, Exercise, and Stretching along with what activates to avoid.

Next Appointment

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
