Why do I need x-rays?

They necessary to get the full complete understanding of the person's health condition.

In some situations, it is not necessary to x-ray or repeat x-rays of a patient if they have had any x-rays within the past 6 months and their condition has relatively been unchanged due to the absence of additional injury or insult to the region.

Another reason for not performing x-rays would be that the patient was resuming a maintenance type adjustment program that was continued from another chiropractor at a different locale.

These x-rays are necessary to possibly detect a problem that is non-neuromuscular, such as cancer, broken bones or other types of maladies that may hinder the progress if orthodox chiropractic care were begun.
